Perrywood customer update

A quick business update. As of today (Wednesday 18th March) we are open but this is constantly being reviewed in this ever changing situation. We have significantly increased sanitation measures in the garden centre and coffee shop, and for our employees more generally. They are not working in close proximity to one another (as far as is practical), and we ask you to also keep your distance from them if you come and shop or eat with us.  We also ask that you follow Government guidelines and do not visit if you are self-isolating.

Our opening hours remain the same at the moment, but this may change depending on Government advice and/or number of available employees so please check back before you visit. If we make any changes they will go on our website and social media channels.

This weekend (21 and 22 March) there will be a reduced menu in the coffee shop. There will be additional measures to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness. The Mother’s Day menu will not be on offer. Menu is liable to change, but is likely to be sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, quiche and possibly some other hot items such as ham, egg and chips. As well as cakes, scones etc.

As we move into next week (w/c 23 March) we will be looking into the possibility of local deliveries for garden centre plants and products, and how we might help local customers get access to our home cooked food. We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to partner with us with regards to our food offering. If any care home or community group is not able to use their kitchen due to lack of staff please get in touch, to see if we can help.

We feel very lucky to have an amazing Perrywood team, who are helping one another out and rising to this unprecedented new challenge. Looking after them is our number one priority.

We know gardening and plants have an important part to play in helping us to get exercise and switch off from the gloomy headlines.  We hope for some sunny days in coming weeks so we can all get outside when possible.
