I’d highly recommend it!
I had the pleasure of visiting Perrywood Garden Centre & Nurseries Ltd this morning.
This is a recognition post for the incredible creative vision, effort and skill that goes into the Christmas transformation this garden centre goes through each year.
I came away feeling that I should have paid an entrance fee to this ‘attraction’. The vision and planning that goes into this creation is phenomenal. It must take 6-12 months planning, I’d imagine.
Credit to the visual merchandisers who work here. Additionally, to the buyers who supply an unbelievable range assortment for those merchandisers to work with to create the retail ‘theatre’.
This years theme – ‘Step Back In Time’ showcasing displays from the 20’s, 40’s, 70’s, 90’s and more.
If you haven’t been, and are local enough to make the trip, I’d highly recommend it. I’d imagine folk are travelling from far afield to go and take a look!
I always end up staying for a good few hours!
I always end up staying for a good few hours, having a mooch around all the well displayed items both indoors and outdoors. The plants are healthy and always look amazing. The cafe is one of the best, and I can highly recommend the daily quiche and any of the sweet treats on offer. Staff, what can I say except that they all must love their jobs. They are helpful, happy, and always have time for their customers. I admire the staff for giving all their tips to charity. What an awesome thing to do. I will be back before Christmas to enjoy the amazing decorations and get some of the festive cheer.
Super place to spend a very pleasant time!
The whole place is always buzzing and busy and the staff are always helpful, and they smile when communicating with you. Then there is the excellent restaurant, meals good, cake always very tempting and drinks are freshly made while you wait. Great place to go for plants indoors and out. Overall a super place to spend a very pleasant time.
A delightful garden centre
Have a 5 star review Perrywood. What a delightful garden centre this place is. Loads of top notch colourful garden candy to feast your eyes on. They stock a wide range of David Austin roses which has seen us return many times, and I guess we will be back again soon if the wife has her way! Thanks Perrywood for the service with a smile that you always provide!
I was so inspired!
Had a nice breakfast during our last visit, sensibly priced and good quality. Definitely one of the best garden centres around and so much to look at from homewares to food and drink, not just plants and such. I was so inspired by one of their water fountain displays that I decided to make one myself!
One of our family favourite visits
Perrywood Garden Centre is one of our family favourite visits. Terrific garden displays, excellent food and always a first class service from people who clearly enjoy working there. Thank you.
An excellent garden centre that has won a number of awards.
An excellent garden centre that has won a number of awards. Family owned rather than a national chain which enables them to provide those special touches e.g they try and grow a lot of plants themselves rather than have them bought in from abroad so as to be more environmentally friendly. Large indoor and outdoor areas providing all the normal garden centre items and much more. Wheelchair friendly and wheelchairs are also available to borrow as well. Fantastic restaurant which has recently expanded serving a range of hot and cold food from cooked breakfast to proper special afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes, and scones. Clean and modern toilets. The car park has also been recently upgraded. Friendly and helpful staff. A place to go when you need something or just to browse and have a bite to eat. Just visited again for a birthday breakfast with family. Seems quieter at beginning of week and mid afternoons if you need your space.
If you are into anything gardening, then this is well worth a visit.
Went here last weekend. There’s plenty of parking available, and the garden centre really has the largest selection of everything garden possible. Prices are reasonable, and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If you are into anything gardening, then this is well worth a visit.
The best garden centre I've ever been to
The best garden centre I’ve ever been to, super helpful staff willing to go the extra mile to help you with any questions. The only garden center I’ve been to where every plant looks healthy and well looked after. Food here is also amazing, with a wide range of food from fish and chips to cakes and homemade scones.
What a great garden centre
What a great garden centre, it’s huge. The plant variety and quality it’s exceptional. The prices are responsible too. It also have a lovely café / restaurant with good cakes and hit food. Staff are chirpy and helpful which is a massive bonus. I would definitely recommend a visit!
For me it's the whole experience
Perrywood’s has an extensive range of indoor and outdoor plants but for me it’s the whole experience – amazing interior styling ideas and products, kitchen and homeware, local food range and gifting ideas and an amazing cafe. Christmas is always a great time to visit.
