Helping Autism Anglia to create a sensory garden

This morning I visited Autism Anglia at Peldon, where they have residential accommodation for 23 adults with autism. They are one of our three chosen charities for 2012, and we aim to help them realise their vision of creating a sensory garden. They have a fantastic outlook over fields and the Abberton reservoir and we hope to help them create some very peaceful spaces in the garden, as well as creating a herb and vegetable garden outside the kitchen. We will be speaking to our suppliers about how they can help us, and will be giving some Perrywood Grown plants later in the season. We will also have collection tins in the shop, so please do contribute any spare change when you visit. Watch this space!
