Supporting Local Charities and the Community in 2023

We are delighted to announce, this year Perrywood Tiptree will be supporting and working with three charities. All are closely aligned with our visions and values to look after generations of customers and families and support the wellness of the community.

Hope for Tomorrow raise funds to purchase and maintain mobile cancer units that offer treatment for those needing treatment for cancer. They bring cancer care facilities into the heart of communities making it more convenient and less stressful for patients.

They currently have 14 units across the country, all individually named. We will be working with them to help support our local units named ‘Maureen’ which is based at Colchester Hospital and often visits Tesco carpark, Tiptree.

Abberton Rural Training is an educational charity providing practical and skills training alongside therapeutic support and mentoring to the residents of Essex and surrounding areas.

The courses have a particular focus on rural skills, including countryside & environment, horticulture, woodlands & land management.  They provide life skills and employability skills alongside accredited learning.

Perrywood will be raising funds for equipment as well as supporting their well being planting scheme at all their training locations.

We will also be supporting Greenfingers Charity, a small national charity dedicated to supporting the children who use hospices around the UK, along with their families, by creating inspiring gardens for them to relax in and enjoy.

Perrywood will be raising money for Garden Re-Leaf day in March.

We look forward to working with all the charities over the next couple of years!
