On Friday 2nd June, our team visited our chosen charity at their ‘Red Rose Community Farm’ Friends Community Farms (as part of the The Befriending Scheme).
Their new site in Lindsey is undergoing huge project work including 4 new polytunnels, a sensory garden and new homes for their animals.
The team work hard to fundraise so it was a great opportunity for them to see all the work that is being done. Also to meet those who use the farm on a regular basis.
This amazing community farm offers a therapeutic environment with friendship and learning opportunities for those with learning disabilities, people suffering from ill mental health, and vulnerable children and families.
