Perrywood Encourages Children to Garden Sustainably

As part of our Plant Hope campaign, we are encouraging our customers, whether novice or experienced gardeners, to become more sustainable and to help nature through gardening.

Children are our future gardeners, encouraging and teaching them now will give them plenty of knowledge and understanding.

So, we gave some of our team tomato plants or wildflower seeds for their children/grandchildren to grow at home. They have had fun planting into their pots and are eager for them to grow. It’s amazing to see all their interest and how gardening can bring the whole family together.

This has been a great opportunity for the children to nurture their plants, get gardening and inspire them to grow more.

It’s great to see the children enjoying the activity and very encouraging that many of them understand the importance of finding little ways to become more sustainable. We hope these videos will encourage more of you to grow your own, collect water, reduce your carbon footprint, help pollinators and use peat-free compost for a more sustainable future (click on the photos to watch the video).

Look out for updates on how their plants are doing!
