Perrywood celebrates award wins at the National Garden Centre Association Conference

The team at Perrywood Tiptree is celebrating this week following tremendous success at the National Garden Centre Association (GCA) Conference this week, the industry’s most prestigious event of the year for UK garden centres.

Perrywood Tiptree was named 3rd in the Garden Centre Association’s Top 100 League Table, for the second consecutive year, making it one of only ten garden centres of excellence in the whole of the UK – and the best in the South of England.

The GCA carries out an annual inspection of all its members and uses this to compile the rankings table. The association adds up scores for a number of elements including customer service, merchandising, creativity and innovation, quality and range of products and much more. This is a fantastic achievement for Perrywood, maintaining third place for the second year running.

Perrywood Tiptree was also named the best UK Plant Area in larger Destination Garden Centres (above £4m turnover), winning the sought-after Ruxley Rose Award for the second consecutive year. Our vision is ‘to inspire people to get more plants in their lives’ and this prestigious award is testament to our skills in growing and retailing both indoor and outdoor plants.

Alan Bourne, Owner of Perrywood, commented:

“Plants play a huge part in our lives and now, more than ever, it is really important for people to connect with the natural world. We love providing plants and products for people’s gardens, and to be recognised for this, is fantastic!”
