The team at Perrywood Tiptree is celebrating following recent success at the National Garden Centre Association (GCA) Conference, the industry’s most prestigious event of the year for UK garden centres.
Perrywood Tiptree was named 8th in the Garden Centre Association’s Top 100 League Table, making us one of only ten garden centres of excellence in the whole of the UK – and the best in East Anglia/East of England. We have now been named a garden centre of excellence for the last 5 years.
The GCA carries out an annual inspection of all its members and uses this to compile the rankings table. The association adds up scores for a number of elements including customer service, merchandising, creativity and innovation, quality and range of products and much more.
Perrywood Tiptree also came 1st in the GIMA Award for Best Garden Products Retailer and 3rd in the Environment and Community Award. We are extremely passionate about protecting the natural environment and work hard to make our business and gardening in general, more sustainable. We aim to make a positive contribution to the community and are committed to raising funds for our chosen charities. This year, they are Greenfingers Charity, Abberton Rural Training and Together We Grow CIC.
