With our Weber summer barbecue courses fast approaching and fully sold out this year, we thought we’d share 5 top tips that we gained from Richard Holden at last year’s event, so you can get cooking alfresco with confidence. Richard from Weber shared his outdoor grill culinary skills with our cook-along attendees.
The menu included white fish and chorizo risotto, steak, whole roast chicken, tarte tatin and more.
There was lot of fun, a great atmosphere and plenty of tips and tricks to take home. Our shop floor manager shares 5 top tips that she gained from the course:
Tip number 1: Keep the lid on your BBQ closed whilst cooking to avoid flare-ups.
Tip number 2: Use a temperature probe, such as the iGrill2, to ensure food is perfectly cooked.
Tip number 3: Choose briquettes or lumpwood charcoal that are made from all natural ingredients and use a chimney starter for easy lighting.
Tip number 4: When possible, use two sets of tools – one for raw food and one for cooked food.
Tip number 5: The Weber poultry infusion roaster is a great tool – not only for roasting chickens but also for delicious tarte tatin.
