Ending the year with some Christmas cheer!

For the last five years, over the Christmas period, we have been giving out planted containers to individuals in our local community who, for one reason or another, deserve some Christmas cheer.

Fiona and Carly who planted up all the containers

This year, we teamed up with the fantastic Tiptree Volunteers who kindly delivered these gifts to local people who are shielding due to Covid-19. The volunteers said it was a delight to see so many smiles!
The Tiptree Volunteers are a group of seven people (Clare Howlett, Sarah Luisis, Carole Hull, Annette Hazell, Alice Dunn, Jamie Cross and Chris Ward). Over the last few months, they have completed just under 1500 various tasks for people shielding in the local area as well as helping with local Foodbank collections.

We are so pleased this Christmas cheer campaign has bought joy and happiness to the recipients and thank Tiptree Volunteers for making this possible.
