We are launching a new contactless delivery service this week, starting with postcodes CO5 9 and CO5 0 only. If you are outside this delivery area I’m sure you will understand that we need to start with a small area to ensure we are able to fulfil orders. As the service evolves, we hope to be able to offer deliveries to a larger area and will review this very regularly.
If you are in those postcodes please start making your shopping lists, and check back on our website or social media pages on Tuesday morning for details on how to order. This will be via a dedicated email address which we will share with you once we are ready, and once we are ready to process your order we will then call you back to check details and take payment over the phone. There will be a minimum spend and we are asking people to only shop for themselves. Some ranges such compost and bedding plants will be restricted to make things easier for our team who need to observe the 2m social distancing rules.
We have spent some time planning this service, as had heard from other garden centres the challenges of being able to fulfil orders whilst also keeping the team and customers safe. Our Director Simon has been personally delivering to the Perrywood team for the past two weeks, enabling us to further refine a customer delivery service. Please bear with us, we are expecting huge demand and we may need to make adjustments as we react to orders coming in.
We also hope to launch deliveries to areas close to Perrywood Sudbury in the future, but we are first focusing on getting the Tiptree service up and running first.
