Come along to our Pizza Day!

Our Outdoor Living team will be cooking scrumptious pizzas between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 17th June!

 

They will show you how to cook on the Ooni Koda 16, Ooni Karu 12, Kamado Joe Classic III and Masterbuilt Gravity 800 Series.

 

We will also have a competition running to WIN a ‘money can’t buy’ opportunity for our team to come and cook you and your family pizza on the Ooni pizza oven. Terms and conditions apply – www.perrywood.co.uk/competition-terms.

 

Timings for the day (approx.):

11am – How to light the pizza ovens

11.15 – Dough recipes

11.30 – Neapolitan pizza

12.00 – Wood v Gas – blind taste test to see if you can taste the difference

13.00 –  The team will talk through the range and options available depending on budget and what you already have

13.30 – Chicago style pizza

14.00 – Perrywood team pizza cook off – you can choose which pizza is the best!

14.45 – Question and answer session

 

Simon’s favourite pizza dough recipe:

Enough for four pizzas

Ingredients:

2 teaspoons of instant/fast acting yeast

600g bread flour

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

340ml water

Instructions:

Place in bowl and mix together

On a worksurface knead until stretchy

Leave in warm place for 30 mins and then knock back and then knead again

Divide into 4 and turn into dough balls ready to use

Can be made in advance and placed covered in the fridge, just take out of fridge at least 30  mins before using.

(Even easier if you have a bread machine and use the ‘dough’ setting.)
