Add some colour to your garden and home this Spring!

Each year Pantone (best known for their colour matching system) comes out with their ‘top ten colours for Spring’, which this year are reminiscent of the hues which surround us in nature. It includes paler colours such as Hazelnut and Pale Dogwood, and more vibrant selections including Primrose Yellow and Lapis Blue. Also included is their ‘colour of the year’ greenery.

As a business which is potty about plants and nature this colour collection got us very excited! We have challenged each of our teams to come up with colour combinations inspired by this Spring Pantone collection. Throughout the store during March, April and May you will see exciting displays which use these colour combinations in exciting and innovative ways.

In our gift shop our team has combined greenery and kale with primrose yellow, whilst other displays combine the green shades with the dramatis Lapis blue. In the houseplants greenhouse the team has chosen to feature flame for the bolder look, and island paradise for softer, muted interiors. Across the store we feature all the colours and many more!

New for Spring 2017 we are now stocking the Ronseal collection of paints, which can be used to paint a variety of materials from metal and terracotta through to wood. Around the store you will find examples of these Ronseal paints in action. See our garden tips article for some easy ways to add colour to your garden.
