Our Charity Tea Party held in the Coffee Shop & Restaurant this afternoon (25/01) was a roaring success! Over £1400 was raised for Hope for Tomorrow (one of our chosen charities) from ticket and raffle sales.
Seventy customers enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea of freshly-made sandwiches, scones and cakes served by the Perrywood team.
Thank you to all our customers who supported the event and helped raise such a fantastic sum of money for Hope for Tomorrow. A big thank you to our team who were involved in the smooth running of this event – the Coffee Shop team (including the chefs), the team from the shop, plant area, office and nursery who volunteered to help and of course the Corporate Fundraiser Kelly.
Our raffle which included a Perrywood planted container, sweet hamper, barbecue hamper and more raised an amazing £325.
Also, instead of receiving tips the Coffee Shop & Restaurant team donates their money to charity. With the fantastic support of our customers, they have managed to raise £1,020! This money will purchase a Lab Cold Pharmacy Fridge for Hope for Tomorrow cancer unit ‘Maureen’.
