Our Charity Tea Party held in the Coffee Shop & Restaurant this afternoon (10/8) was an amazing success! £1350 was raised for Abberton Rural Training (one of our chosen charities) from ticket and raffle sales.
Sixty customers enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea of freshly-made sandwiches, scones and cakes served by the Perrywood team.
Thank you to all our customers who supported the event and helped raise such a fantastic sum of money for Abberton Rural Training. A big thank you to our team who were involved in the smooth running of this event – the Coffee Shop team (including the chefs), the team from the shop, plant area, office and nursery who volunteered to help and of course the Chief Executive Officer Jacqui and Neil from ART.
Also a thank you to our suppliers Springvale, Bishop Nick, East Coast Distillery, Essex Spirits Company, Brambles and Big Bear Cider who donated prizes to our raffle which raised £300.
