We are delighted to have raised a fantastic £1,357 for Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity at our afternoon tea party last Wednesday!
The charity event was held in our Terrace Room and seventy customers enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea of freshly made sandwiches, scones and cakes.
As well as the Coffee Shop team, several staff from the office (Jen, Rachel, Sarah J and Selina) and shop (Sarah G and Sharon) helped out with serving customers and selling raffle tickets, it was a real team effort!
Thanks to all our customers who supported the event and helped raise a fantastic sum of money for Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity. Thanks also to all the Perrywood staff involved in the smooth running of this event (especially Nikki from the Coffee Shop!), Penny from the charity who came to offer support and meet the customers and also to our suppliers (Mrs Bridges and Bramble Foods) who donated prizes for the raffle that raised £322.
Our next charity event is the Kids Inspire quiz night in our Coffee Shop on Thursday 17th October. Tickets will be available to book on our website in the next few weeks.
