Summer is the season for sitting back, relaxing and enjoying your garden. If you are sitting back and noticing a distinct lack of colour in your outside space then now is the time to add some oomph with summer bedding plants.
Summer bedding plants are one of the star performers of the summer garden. They may only grow and flower for one year but they give you freedom to change your design each year for a different visual effect. Most bedding plants are annual, which means they only grow and flower for one year. They are discarded at the end of the season, and the following year new plants will be grown. This gives you the freedom to change your bedding displays every year for a different visual effect.
Summer bedding plants will brighten up any plant border and are useful for filling gaps between plants that have yet to bloom or are out of season. They will also thrive in containers and hanging baskets.
